I am going to be completely honest, I only watched part of this ugly as hell game. I don't get too wrapped up in alot of the pre-season games. Because they are PRE-SEASON! There is really nothing that the average fan can glean from the game itself. Those who live and breathe football, who study stat sheets, who can break down game tape, play fantasy football, they can get more out of the games. I am on the fringe of the latter category, but really don't care much about the pre-season.
For one thing, the Cowboys couldn't figure out that you need to RUN THE DAMN BALL when you are on the 2 yard line. Especially when you have, as the illustrious Herm Edwards described, "The Largest Offensive Line In Captivity." YOU RUN THE DAMN BALL.
The Bengals looked shaky. The defense might be something to contend with if Pac-Man holds up to what he showed last night.
I dunno... do you get into pre-season?
