Unfortunately, my laptop has decided to become asthmatic (extremely loud fan) and had to go in the shop. With that, I am now on a netbook and blackberry for internet. Ergo, updates are gonna be fewer and farther between....

Wow, 9 days since my last post. Damn I was wanting to do more. Oh well...

Anyway, I wanted to share a couple of jacked up quotes I heard this week at work. Thought they were funny as hell.

First, my boss' wife is having a baby. She is in labor. He calls me to give me an update on an issue and touch base on a couple of other things I had in the fire. I asked him if he had a kiddie yet. He said no, that he was "driving to go have a cigarette. The hospital is completely non-smoking, so to have one means to drive." I told him "Dude, you are having a kid!" His response: "Right now, a cigarette is way more important."

The second, and funnier quote came from a peer. We were driving to lunch and saw some cross country track team out running. My friend said: "When I am dead, I want to be reincarnated as a teenaged lesbian, if only for the slumber parties."

This is completely bad ass... I love mash ups and this is truly interesting. Usually, when someone does a mash up, they simply merge the recordings of two or more songs by sampling and overdubbing. This group, Rock Sugar, has gone about it a whole new way. These guys are actually playing two songs intermingled. There is an entire album of these songs out there, but for some reason their site store is having issues. Until you can grab it yourself, check it out on YouTube!

So last night, Boise State came back in one hell of a College Football game against Virginia Tech. The Broncos and Hokies. What THE FUCK is a Hokie? Nobody has ever defined that for me. I feel that I am missing out on something.

The two fantasy football leagues I am in have drafted. I have shit for players. Oh well... it is all in fun right?

Labor Day has come and gone. Of course, being in retail, I had to work all three days of the weekend. I hope everyone who got the time off enjoyed it though!
